Duration: 6 weeks beginning September 3, 2024
Collaborative learning: join a curated group of passionate BJJ leaders committed to growth and flying higher.
Live group meetings: Engage in four 90-minute monthly interactive Zoom group meetings, including curriculum debriefs, Q&A sessions, and networking. Meetings are scheduled each Tuesday from 12:00 - 1:30 PM EST.
Personal Coaching: Receive two 60-minute triad personal coaching sessions, offering individualized support for your unique journey.
Hands-on practicums: Apply your new skills and knowledge immediately in your academy through practical exercises.
All-in-one online platform: Access self-paced course modules, create a custom profile, take professional assessments, participate in forums, and connect with networking groups.
Comprehensive curriculum: Dive into a holistic approach that integrates personal leadership, mat operations and academy management.
In-person summit: Celebrate your journey at our in-person summit in Sterling, Virginia, later this year.
Certificate of Completion: Upon successfully completing the cohort, you'll receive a certificate of completion from Jiu Jitsu Mentor.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

What is a cohort?

A cohort is collaborative learning with a group of participants where we will go through a structured training program and grow and learn together. This cohort has been intentionally designed to provide an integrative approach where we delve into personal leadership, academy management, and mat-related skills.

When are the coaching triad sessions scheduled?

You will be introduced to your coach and triad partner at the beginning of the cohort. The triad sessions should be scheduled between you, your coach and triad partner at a time that is convenient for all parties.

What if I cannot attend the live Zoom meetings?

The meetings are critical success factors of the interactive Jiu Jitsu Mentor Experience. If you can’t attend these important components, we kindly ask that you apply at a time that you are able to fully commit to the full program.

What do I need to know about the in-person summit celebration?

The in-person summit will take place last in December 2024 at Team Passos Jiu Jitsu located in Sterling, Virginia, conveniently located just outside of Washington D.C. If you are traveling by air, the nearest airport is Washington-Dulles (IAD). This event offers a blend of training, relationship building, and good food.
Please note that flights and hotel accommodations are not included in the program price and must be arranged by participants themselves.

Is there a payment plan option for the cohort?

Absolutely. The cohort has payment plan options. Reach out to us if you need support.

Is there a minimum experience requirement to join the cohort?

To ensure the group is at a similar stage of growth, the cohort participants should be currently serving in a leadership role with a jiu jitsu program.
